 Dear brothers and sisters,

Good day to you and God bless in the matchless name of Jesus Christ.

How do you express the Love of God to others? Even if today you are all alone, how will you express your thanks for His great Love?

For some reason writing hasn't come easy for me today. That is why I am going to share some good words from others out of my old book of songs. I hope you are as blessed as I am.

Psalm 119:48 says, "My hands also I will lift up to Your commandments, which I love, and I will meditate on Your statutes."

Here we are, where ever we are. Have you had a desire to just lift your hands up high when you read God's Word? We express our worship in church with lifted hands. Why not when we are alone? It is very freeing and part of our worship. God notices and loves your surrendered heart.

When you think of where you came from, living in darkness away from the Light of Jesus, are you ready to sing this song? "Love Lifted Me" was written in 1912 by James Rowe. Here are the words of the first verse.

"I was sinking deep in sin, far from the peaceful shore, very deeply stained within, sinking to rise no more. But the Master of the sea heard my despairing cry, from the waters lifted me now safe am I. Love lifted me! Love lifted me! When nothing else could help Love lifted me; Love lifted me! Love lifted me! When nothing else could help...Love Lifted Me!!"

It is God's Love that lifts us out of darkness. The gift of eternal life is through Jesus His Son, the perfect Lamb of God. Only believe.

By taking even a few minutes everyday our minds will be transformed and brought into wholeness as we sit at the feet of Jesus. It becomes a lifestyle!

By giving thanks from the heart, we find there is more and more light brightening our steps. A Light that won't be quenched by fear or doubt. A Light that draws others to Jesus.

Do I believe God loves me? Without a doubt! Do I believe the behind the brightest day, the stars still shine? Yes! Do I trust that the sun will rise after a long night? I do! How about you? Like this, God's Love is simple to trust. If only you will today.

I came across a poem that made me stop and think. Really another song..."The Love of God" by F. M. Lehman in 1917. He had been thinking about the limitless Love of God, and during breaks he sat on an empty lemon crate and jotted down words with a stubby pencil.

I like that picture because it reminds me that even while sitting on a crate with a small piece of paper and a short pencil, I too can express God's Love. He wrote, "God's Love is far greater than any tongue or pen tell. It goes beyond the highest star and reaches to the lowest hell..."

Now the poem says, and this is what got me to pause...

"Could we with ink the ocean fill and were the skies of parchment made, Were every stalk on earth a quill, and every man a scribe by trade, To write the love of God above would drain the ocean dry, Nor could the scroll contain the whole though stretched from sky to sky."

Are you ready for this kind of Love? The Spirit of the Lord brought people like these two gifted men, through some amazing times where they learned just how much God Loves us!

I will leave you then with this from Psalm 106:1..."Praise the Lord! Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever."Amen

Abundance is...filling my mouth with songs of His Love
