 Dear family and friends,

Thank you for coming to Heartstrings once again. May your hearts be encouraged as you "Bless the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ." Ephesians 1:3.

In the last several days I have heard some pretty intense prayer requests. Missing young people. Emergency surgeries. Sick family members and friends in pain. I know you ask God why, just as I do.

As I count my blessings each day I am realizing the most precious and richest are spiritual blessings. These can be overlooked in a world of unrest and searching for peace. I know there is more to this journey than the physical and emotional needs we have. And we know God will supply all we need, don't we? What about the spiritual ones? We cannot overlook this facet in the kingdom of God.

So, I am going to share with you something I read in my devotional from 'Streams in the Desert'. In Matthew 17:14-22 Jesus is instructing about faith. Besides showing us in the way He had compassion on the people; He speaks to our personal soul, even in this generation.

The disciples came to Jesus saying they couldn't cast out the demon. They wanted to know why. Makes sense to me. Then in verse 20-21, we have the answer.

"And He said to them, "Because of the littleness of your faith; for truly I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you shall say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it shall move; and nothing shall be impossible to you. But this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting."

Back to my devotional. It stressed "It Is Possible! For those who really are willing to reckon on the power of the Lord for keeping and victory, to lead a life in which His promises are taken as they stand and are found to be true."

"It Is Possible to cast all our care upon Him daily and to enjoy deep peace in doing it."

"It Is Possible to have the thoughts and imaginations of our hearts purified, in the deepest meaning of the word."

"It Is Possible to see the will of God in everything, and to receive it, not with sighing, but with singing."

"It Is Possible by taking complete refuge in divine power to become strong through and through; and, where previously our greatest weakness lay, to find that things which formerly upset all our resolves to be patient, or pure, or humble, furnish today an opportunity--through Him who loved us, and works in us as an agreement with His will and a blessed sense of His presence and His power--to make sin powerless over us."

I am so grateful for the wisdom of others. This was an exerpt from H. C. G. Moule. It's all about believing in Divine Possiblities! We can choose to choose how much of God we want! When I think about this, I am possitively excited, even in my puny thinking!

If you have the key to unlock a treasure chest and were able take any amount you want, it is your choice, right? Why settle for one when you can have the whole treasure chest? Discussion closed!

God, our Father has so much for us...if only. Instead of spending time wasting away with worry about the weather, worry about the body, worry about which food is safe to eat, worry about the job, worry about the family. You know. None of that will move the hand of God.

But, our praise will! Our faith in His ability to bring to pass His goodness and grace will! I want to be courageous as I pray for others. My list continues to grow and grow. Intercession may not be an open ministry for others to give us honor. It takes the stance of a bended heart and knee, submitted to God. Here in the quiet place where we abide with Him.

The question for me isn't "why God" but, it is "when God." My place is to continue in prayer. The way Jesus taught. And, everyday my personal prayer is to have mountain moving faith.

If you want all that God has for you, then put your trust in Him today. He is the most trustworthy of all your relationships. Every moment, every hour, with every step, throughly trust the Holy Spirit and walk with God. Invite Jesus to be your Lord and Savior this very minute. He is waiting with open arms because you are His treasure.

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. I love you in His matchless name, amen.

Abundance is...without a doubt
