Dearly loved by God,

I am thrilled to have this opportunity to gather with you during trying times. If you belong to Jesus Christ, you will win this battle. Remember, God is still on His Throne!

So, let's take a look at our armor. Ephesians 6:10-13 says, "Be strong in the Lord [be empowered through your union with Him]; draw your strength from Him [that strength which His boundless might provides].

Put on God's whole armor [the armor of a heavy-armed soldier which God supplies], that you may be able successfully to stand up against [all] the strategies and the deceits of the devil.

For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the despotisms, against the powers, against [the master spirits who are] the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) sphere.

Therefore put on God's complete armor, that you may be able to resist and stand your ground on the evil day [of danger], and , having done all [the crisis demands], to stand [firmly in your place]."

Everything we need as children of the Most High is available to us. In times of trouble we can stand! Galatians 5:1 says, "In [this] freedom Christ has made us free [and completely liberated us]; stand fast then, and do not be hampered and held ensnared and submit again to a yoke of slavery [which you have once put off]."

At this cross roads we can either be free in the knowledge that our lives are redeemed back to the Father, or, we can be held captives in fear and confusion. We are not overlooked by our Father! We can't hide from His Love. This is freedom to me!

Before you put the armor of God on you must submit all you have, all you desire and ever hope to be. Humble yourself before Him. Surrender to Him and you won't surrender to the enemy.

Should I be unable to return to Heartstrings, please read and reread Ephesians 6. Be equipped and prepare for battle then, rest knowing God is in control and knows the stratedgy, the plans that are best to bring His kingdom to pass.

Spend time in prayer. Read and meditate on God's Love Letter to you. All we need for life here is in there. Trust and obey. Even if it seems silly in your own mind. Follow the Holy Spirit as He will lead you and comfort you during this trial. Stay on course, without distraction!

Our lives may be shaken and tremble at what we see happening in our world today. It isn't just about our own little corner any longer. The whole world is being called to Love God with all their heart. WE read 2 Chronicles 7:14 says, "If My people, who are called by My name, shall humble themselves, pray, seek, crave, and require of necessity My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land."

Psalm 46:1 says, "GOD IS our Refuge and Strength [mighty and impenetrable to temptation], a very present and well-proved help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear..." 

Thank you Father for this time to renew our hope in You. To take a stand on your promises and learn again how to come into Your presence. Show us by the power of Your Spirit what we are to do with the time we have. Lift our hearts to worship You above all the noise of the storm around us. Thank you for loving us Abba. You are worthy of praise! In the matchless name of Jesus Christ our soon coming King, amen.
