Dear family and friends in Christ,

May the blessings of the Lord our God overtake you today! As we gather at Heartstrings I am thinking of the many around our world that are searching for some good news. I pray you find it here!

Psalm 147:112 says, "The Lord takes pleasure in those who reverently and worshipfully fear HIm, in those who hope in His mercy and loving-kindness."

If we are in fear of man can there ever be a hopeful outcome? Never. Not eternal hope. To fear the Lord is a reverent, worshipful place, with a humble heart lifted in surrender and thanksgiving.

Even though the last week I have read many scriptures about anxiety, I find that I remember them better if I can write them down. Just like writing on a tablet, the ink of God's immense love flows onto the paper of my heart and mind.

So, I will proceed to share more. In Psalm 34:4..."I sought (inquired of) the Lord and required Him [of necessity and on the authority of His Word]. and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears."

Yesterday I was blessed to take a trip with my family to the river in the woods. It is called Lost Horse. We managed the rutty road until we came upon the perfect site. The water was raging and swollen with thaws from the lakes up further. The sound of it was so loud it took me awhile to settle into the sheer beauty.

I stepped closer to the edge of the water and suddenly remembered a dream I had only the night before...falling into that swift current and being taken away. That was a reminder to step back a bit further! I did fine after I spoke God's truth over the situation and throughly enjoyed everything immensly.

I think our lives are like that. We can get so caught up in the rip and flow of the things around us that we find our hearts beating hard and we get out of breath. You understand.

God's Word does give us several warnings. And if not specifically, we can sure see the lives of those examples in just everyday people, chosen to be set apart for God.

We are not to be anxious! The Lord will hear and answer us. He will deliver us from all, ALL our fears. Can you do that without Him? Certainly I can't seem to manage it alone.

Psalm 46:10 says, "Let be and be still, and know (recognize and understand) that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations! I will be exalted in the earth!"

Mark 9:23 says, "And Jesus said, [You say to Me], If you can do anything? [Why,] all things can be (are possible) to him who believes!"

When fears come; doubt, and your mind and body go into survival mode, take the time to be still. KNOW without a shadow of doubt that God has you in the palm of His hands and the center of His plans for your journey.

When God says,"I will be exalted among the nations! I will be exalted in the earth!" Well, just open your eyes and see what He is doing! I have no doubt that He is working for our good and His glory. What do you believe?

My writing today took a different turn than I thought it would. Hey, that happens most of the time! But, my heart overflows in the blessing of the Lord and the power of His Spirit. I wish you and I could spend some time together talking about the Lord.

You know, whether you are with me from Great Britian, the USA, Africa, Russia, Germany, India, or any other place on the planet...someday we will meet with the Lord...TOGETHER! Then, we can share in His goodness for all eternity! What joy that will be!

Finally, 1 Corinthians 2:9..."What eye has not seen and ear has not heard and has not entered into the heart of man, [all that] God has prepared (made and keeps ready) for those who love HIm [who hold Him in affectionate reverence, promptly obeying Him and gratefully recognizing the benefits He has bestowed]."

In the Precious, Priceless, Matchless name of Jesus Christ; God be with you all. Amen.

Abundance is...beyond measure
