Gathering with Heartsrings
Good morning friends and family. Will you say that Because He Lives, I can face tomorrow? He is our only hope for our future.
Last night I watched the debate and my heart became anxious. Not just in a bad way but, anxious for truth to come forward. Instead of, the sad representation of a man without understanding of what has really taken place. I cannot call him my president. Yes, I am speaking about Joe Biden. The clarity, the strength and values of President Donald Trump outweighed and exposed the truth about our wayward nation. Many looked on this debate around the world and had their eyes opened.
This morning, I bring all of my doubts, concerns and burdens for our nation before the Lord of All. Herein is my peace. I turned to John 14. God's Love letter to us is full of hope and should give us life joy. Not remorse but, a well placed hope in the power and the name of Jesus Christ. Read the whole chapter and become a vessel of honor.
Verse 25-29... Jesus said, "I have told you these things while I am still while I am still with you. ~ But the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, Whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. And He will cause you to recall (will remind you of, bring to your remembrance) everything I have told you.
~Peace I leave with you, My [own] peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let Your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. [Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed; and do not permit yourselves to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled.]
~ You heard Me tell you, I am going away and I am coming [back] to you. If you [really] loved Me, you would have been glad, because I am going to the Father; for the Father is greater and mightier than I am. ~ And now I have told you [this] before it occurs, so that when it does take place you may believe and have faith in and rely on Me."
As I write this, my pounding heart, cluttered mind and sorrowful soul are slowing to a gentle, calm rhythm. That kettle drum has become the soft sound of stringed instruments for my spirit. Do you understand? Our place of refuge is found in Jesus Christ. You can believe there is a God. But, until you come with a humble heart and bring all your burdens, your sins to Him, there will only be the assumption that your soul is truly at rest. Please call on the name of the Lord now and be saved.
Lord Jesus, You alone make the difference in my life. You are my Strength and Shield. A Shelter in the time of the storm. (Psalm 28:7) You see the days to come. I will trust my life into Your able, loving hands now. I believe You died and rose again. I accept You as my Savior, Redeemer back to the Father. Praise the name, Your name, which is above all others! Thank you for sealing me with Your Holy Spirit. The guarantee of eternity with You! In Jesus matchless name, amen.
If you have prayed this prayer, you might think it can't be that simple. Oh, but it is! Now, get a Bible and read through. The Holy Spirit will teach you and guide you to perfect peace. Do not put this off. The days are troubled and we don't know when we will take our last breath. Bless you in the name of our Lord and soon coming King, amen.
Abundance is...Because He Lives!
