Welcome back to Heartstrings

You are not forgotten. You are not alone. The strength of the Lord is the solid place to stand. Found only in His precious Words of Life. So open your Bible and take a minute to find that strength. It is always ready for us to claim in the name of Jesus.

Did I lose you there? You might have tried church. This isn't about church attendance. This is about your soul. Your worship. So, don't get sideways and claim, "This doesn't work." It does work. 

When you want something bad enough, what do you do? You go after it until it is yours. Right? Begin here. 

Father God, thank you for sending Jesus to die on the cross for my sins and rise again from the grave for my eternal life. I choose to stand on this as Truth. My enemy was defeated because of what You have done. You have given me the power of Holy Spirit so I can successfully resist the devil. James 4:7, 8 says, "So be subject to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Come close to God and He will come close to you."  I believe this. So, I offer my life to You, God, and will wait upon You. I will rejoice that You have given me everything for strength and power today. In Jesus name, amen.

2 Thessalonians 3:3 says, "Yet the Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen [you] and set you on a firm foundation and guard you from the evil [one]."

There is so much anxiety let loose on people today. We have this promise though. Proverbs 10:25 says, "When the whirlwind passes, the wicked are no more, but the [uncompromisingly] righteous have an everlasting foundation." 

Righteous you say? If you only knew my heart. Well, friend, God does know your heart even before you were born. That is why He sent Jesus. To save the lost and dying. He is our Righteousness. The only way to the Father is through Him. Look that one up. It is there in God's Love letter.

There is so much I want to say. I leave you with this. Ephesians. 6:10-11..."Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil."

Every morning I put on the armor of God as Ephesians says. I commit my life to Jesus to be Lord and Master of my day. Sometimes the days are very difficult, but I know I can stand on His Word. It is life and truth! If you are struggling, take it to Jesus. If you have questions, take them to Jesus. If you don't think you can go on, take it to Jesus. He loves you so much. Trust Him with all your heart, soul and mind. Worship Him and discover fresh life. Ask Him to fill you with His Holy Spirit to overflowing. Place your hope in God for peace and power to stand. Learn to separate the precious from the worthless. Begin now. You are loved, in the matchless name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
