Heartstrings family,
In the last few days, we have seen around the world a reaction and response to the death of our dear friend in Christ. Charlie Kirk. Many are turning to Christ because of this. My heart is full today. I woke with a strong sense of our Bridegrooms coming. I even thought to title this 'Charlies Harvest'.
Are you awake like never before church? There is no time for being lazy. Jesus said, "Do not let your hearts be troubled, (distressed, agitated). You believe in and adhere to and trust in and rely on God: believe in and adhere to and trust in and rely also on Me." John 14:1.
In verse 6, Jesus said..."I am the Way and the Truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father except by (through) Me."
I have heard some say that they believe in God but, do you see it is not enough for salvation? We have an open window right now to go beyond believing there is a God, to actually having a relationship, true fellowship with Him.
The main scripture for Heartstrings has been 2 Corinthians 5:17..."Therefore if any person is [ingrafted] in Christ (the Messiah) he is a new creation; the old [previous moral and spiritual condition] has passed away. Behold, the fresh and new has come!"
Wednesday, Charlie Kirk was shot. So many tears and some anger too that this happened. Later in the day, the Holy Spirit settled and comforted my heart that the very thing the enemy meant for evil, God has a plan for good. I believe this. Charlie was taken into the very Presence of Jesus Christ, his Lord.
I have known loss before. Loss of family. But the greater loss is if my children and grandchildren are not saved in this last opportunity. I prayed for this before but now ever so fervently.
This morning during my devotions, I thought I was finished for a while. Then, as I was setting my Bible on the arm of my chair it fell open to John 12 and the first thing I read was verse 24. I am overjoyed to see and hear this! Yes, I've read it before but this was so highlighted in my heart and mind. This was no accident! Praise You Jesus!
It says, "I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, Unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains [just one grain; it never becomes more but lives] by itself alone. But if it dies, it produces many others and yields a rich harvest."
There's that word again. It has tugged on me so deeply. My expectation of Christ Appearing is stronger! And, I saw a report that over 2 Billion have connected and responded to 'Turning Point USA'. If you haven't watched, do so.
So, If the Harvest is so now...will you be looking up and expecting the return of our Bridegroom? Any day now. The signs are all there. We wait for the sound of the Trumpet of God!
Read, in a quiet place what Jesus has said. Don't put it down until you have repented and surrendered to His amazing Love. It is a free gift for any who will call on the name of the Lord. In a moment, your life could be over. Take this seriously and worshipfully. I love and have almost memorized Jesus parable about the 10 Virgins in Matthew 25. It's all been presented to us so simply that a child may understand.
Will you call on Jesus and be saved? Time is running out. The harvest won't last long. Be a servant and get out there. Wake up!
Because we can come to You, Abba Father, we know that all of your plans are for good to those who love You. Even in immense pain and heartache, You are with us. Thank you for the comfort of Holy Spirit. Teach us how to number our days. Make us instruments for Your glory and honor. We wait. Come Lord Jesus Come! We pray in the matchless name of Jesus, amen.
Abundance is...the greatest harvest
