Welcome family and friends to Heartstrings

There is not a day that goes by when we are not seen or heard by the Heavenly Father. There is nothing that escapes His notice. After all, He created you and I. You may know this, but do you believe with your heart?

The last week I have been grieving the loss of my earthly father. I am assured I will see him again in glory. He is living now better than any other time in his life here. Rejoicing, dancing and singing songs of redemption! He loved gardens so I picture him walking hand in hand with Jesus in a beautiful garden made by God. What joy!

Each day the Holy Spirit has directed me to another portion of scripture without me even having to search. Where ever I am in my devotions early morning, He has something special for me. Never have I felt the presence of the Lord as at this time when in my flesh I feel so vulnerable. The tears, like waves sweep over me at times I least expect them. All the while, peace has sustained me.

I am not knowledgeable about most things so bear with me. One morning before the sun came up I woke thinking about pearls. How they are made. How do I say this? You know the grit sand feels like? It only takes one grain of sand to start forming a pearl in the muscle of the clam. If I were to break open the shell, clean away the matter inside and find a pearl I think my heart would be overjoyed! Wouldn't yours?

In thinking about this picture I could see how important the breaking of the shell, prying it apart is sorta like my tough exterior. The places of my heart closed off from the hand of the Lord. There is the tender meat within. The washing. And there you go...a treasure inside. Not always though will there be a pearl. But, the Lord spoke tenderly to me that I was His pearl. Worth so much.

As I thought further and read about the temple of the Lord and how pearl was in that magnificent building, I realized how precious it really is. If God can see the beauty and the priceless value in that, then why not in me? Or you for that matter.

Grieving, I am learning is a process. A truly priceless washing with tears. While sitting beside a loved one, my husband, children and grandchildren I am sensing a new kind of love for them. It has to do with time. Every moment we have is up to the Father. But, we choose how we will live those moments.

I have found hope in God's Word. Romans 15:13 has become an anchor for my soul. "May the God of your hope so fill you with all joy and peace in believing that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound and be overflowing with hope."

Jesus spoke tender words that He would never leave us or forsake us. He said to not be dismayed or troubled, anxious or full of worry. Only believe. What is He speaking to your heart today? Do you know Him? Time is short.

Whether flood, drought, storms or terror, corrupt government, false witnesses, nothing can separate us from His love! Do you believe this?

I will leave you with this. Know that you are in my prayers. Trust God for all you need and love Him with all your heart. Make Jesus Lord of your life. God bless you in the matchless name of Jesus, amen.

Habakkuk 3:17 says, "Though the fig tree does not blossom and there is no fruit on the vines, [though] the product of the olive fails and the fields yield no food, though the flock is cut off from the fold and there are no cattle in the stalls, Yet I will rejoice in the Lord; I will exult in the [victorious] God of my salvation! The Lord God is my Strength, my personal bravery, and my invincible army; He makes my feet like hinds' feet and will make me to walk [not to stand still in terror, but to walk] and make [spiritual] progress upon my high places [of trouble, suffering, or responsibility]!"

When I read this, it is so timely for us today. Be strong and courageous because soon the trumpet of the Lord will sound and we who are His and know His name will be united with Him! Amen.

Abundance is...I am His pearl

Dear Heartstrings family,

Thank you for coming along with me today. I have not been on social media for some time due to family priorities. The Lord is always faithful and true to guide us along the journey. I have found no other friend to help in these times of trial and sorrow. His Spirit rises in my heart to bring what is precious and apply it to my personal story. He also removes the waste of wanting stuff and things of this world. My hope is in Jesus Christ.

Deuteronomy 4:30-31 says, "When you are in tribulation and all these things come upon you, in the latter days you will turn to the Lord your God and be obedient to His voice. ~ For the Lord your God is a merciful God; He will not fail you or destroy you or forget the covenant of your fathers, which He swore to them."

Deuteronomy 5:29 says, "Oh, that they had such a [mind and] heart inthem always [reverently] to fear Me and keep all My commandments, that it might go well  with them and with their children forever!"

Does God desire to bless us with His goodness? Absolutely! At no other time in my life do I know this more than I do now. What He says, He will do. Only I am watchful for it and give my life as worship to God will I draw from the well of Living Waters through Jesus my Lord.

In Joshua 3:4 we see the following of the Ark of the Covenant..."that you may [be able to see the Ark and] know the way you must go, for you have not passed this way before."

My thoughts. I must trust the Word of God and believe, rely on and adhere to each precious part. The commandments of the Lord were given to keep us safe and well. The Ark was to go before the people of God as a standard. To keep their eyes on and remember where they came from and how God would deliver them to the place of His promise. That is God's desire. His heart longs for a people who will abide with Him and let His words abide in them.

Now, because of Jesus, His Son and gift to us we are to do the same. Listen and heed Jesus words, to give us life eternal and to desire fellowship with Him. To know the things in the heart of the Lord for us. If only we will keep our eyes on Him, our Ark, and know the Way, the Truth and the Life. We may say, "We have not passed this way before." Trust and obey, do not fear.

Psalm 143:8 says, "Cause me to hear Thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in Thee do I trust; cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto Thee."

Pray with me? Heavenly Father, You alone are worthy of praise. I give You my life and believe in Your Only Son Jesus. Fill me with Your Spirit and cause my thoughts to be agreeable to Your will. Take all the concerns of my heart and fine tune me as Your servant to bring a song that will honor You. As You forgive me of my sins, help me to forgive the ones who have hurt me, past and present. Make me a vessel of honor for Your glory. In the matchless name of Jesus, amen.

Thank you for stopping by today. We will pray for each other and keep our eyes fixed on Jesus Christ, our blessed hope. Amen.

Abundance is...time in His presence

Welcome back

This prayer is simply my heart speaking to the Father. Yours may be different but, I thought you might be encouraged today in this way.

Father, You are Holy and Worthy to be praised. Your name is above all others and I bow humbly before You. I thank You for Your sweet mercies that are new this morning and that grace covers me in Your sufficiency.

I thank You Abba, Father for calling me through Your Son Jesus. For filling me fresh with Your Spirit. For equipping me and never leaving me alone. While surrounded by Your loving-kindness I cannot go astray. Thank You for keeping me safe and well.

You Lord have called me to ABIDE in You as a fruit bearing branch abides in the vine. John 15 tells me how this happens. Thank You for keeping me vitally united to You. Regardless of circumstances.

You have called me to DELIGHT in You. Psalm 37 tells me that all my delight can be found in You alone. That You can be my one desire where I trust in You and not fret about all the things happening in the world today. Regardless of circumstances, I give You Thanks.

Thank You that I can DWELL in You. Psalm 91 gives me the proof and the power in our fallen world, if only I dwell in Your secret place. There I remain fixed and stable under the shadow of the Almighty, Whose power no foe can withstand. Where I find Refuge? Where I find my Fortress? In dwelling with You! I trust You in confidence and lean and rely upon You O Lord! Regardless of my circumstances.

In conclusion, I will be strong in You, LORD. Empowered through my union with You. I will draw strength from You; in Your boundless might. I will put on the whole armor that is supplied. I will be able to successfully stand up against all the strategies and deceits of the devil.

I know the fight is not wrestling against flesh and blood in the physical. It is against the evil powers, the master spirits of this present darkness. Spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.

So, I resist and stand my ground today and put on the full armor You have provided. The Belt of Truth tight against my body...the Breastplate of Righteousness, not of my own ability, but by being in right standing with You. My feet wear shoes, prepared and covered in firmness and stability to face the enemy and with a readiness to share the Gospel of Peace where ever I go. Your Spirit will help me lift up the shield of faith to block all the flaming missiles of the enemy. I wear the Helmet of Salvation and praise You Lord for causing my thoughts to be agreeable to Your will. I pick up the Sword of the Spirit, the Word of God to cut down the enemy with strength and power of His name. Ephesians 6.

Thank You Father for this day to stand Ready, in Your Presence, by Your Power in the matchless name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Bless you dear family of God. You are in my prayers. What is your prayer dear warrior?

Abundance is...He is my Matchless Warrior and I will follow Him

Hello to friends and family from Heartstrings!

Do you feel like you need to be rescued today? There is hope for you! It is found in following Christ and paying attention to His Word. Psalm 71:1 says, "In You, O LORD, do I put my trust and confidently take refuge; let me never be put to shame or confusion!"

Lord, set us free from negative emotions and the things that feed those feelings. As I grow closer to You I realize there is no reason to live any longer with anxiety, depression, fear, and hopelessness as a way of life. I used to consider this the normal. Now, I am coming to believe that all things are possible to anyone who believes and obeys God. Even to live without negative emotions! Oh, Lord, remove them like lifting off a thick, heavy blanket. Soggy with the lies of the enemy. Help each of us to understand Your goodness in the matchless name above all other names. Amen.

Have you ever felt like God has deserted you? Even Jesus had a time of wrestling with that emotion. You are not alone. At Jesus lowest point He said, "My God, my God, why have You forsaken Me?" (Matthew 27:46).

The truth of the matter is this. You are not alone or forsaken! God is with us to help us when we call upon Him. In the middle of these times, we don't have to be controlled by our negative emotion. We can resist them by praying and knowing the truth of what God's Word says about them.

God's promises are these. Philippians 4:6-7 says, "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."

Psalm 107:13-14 says, "Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, and He saved them out of their distresses. He brought them out of darkness and in the shadow of death, and broke their chains in pieces."

Matthew 11:28-30 says, "Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light."

Psalm 34:17-18 says, "The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. The LORD is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves such as have a contrite spirit."

Isaiah, 40:31 says, "Those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint."

Lord, help us to live in Your joy and peace. Give us strength and understanding to resist anxiety, anger, unrest, envy, depression, bitterness, hopelessness, loneliness, fear, and guilt. You will rescue us when our spirit is overwhelmed within us; when our hearts are distressed. Psalm 143:4.

Help us to keep our "heart with all diligence," for I know that "out of it spring the issues of life"... Proverbs 4:23. Help us not to be insecure and self-focused and miss the opportunities to focus on You and extend Your love. Make us sensitive to the needs of others. Give us wisdom to speak what Your Spirit says to speak to encourage and lift them up from despair. What You accomplished on the cross is my source of greatest joy and the fact that You are alive today!

Negative emotions reveal doubt. Think about it. If we truly trust God, what do we have to be anxious about? Why would we be angry, dissatisfied, envious, depressed, bitter, or hopeless? I know we are all susceptible to experiencing these emotions at some point in our lives. But, don't feel bad about having them, take them to Jesus and don't continue in them. Refuse to allow them to overshadow the beauty of the life God has for you.

Are you ready to put your trust in Jesus today? Give Him your burdens and the things that trouble your mind and heart. He is waiting to restore you and give you fresh life. An effective witness to the world around you. Bless the Lord in the matchless name of Jesus Christ, amen. We will pray for one another.

Abundance is...being rescued by God

Happy Independence Day America!

Welcome back to Heartstrings. You can find us at uniquelyreworked.com. Hope to see you there.

Well, another day and still we get to enjoy the freedoms found here. I don't how long this will go. It all depends on people standing for truth and justice. It depends on each individual. You and I. We choose who we will serve. The political lords trying to indoctrinate the foolish to follow them into the net with indifference as their guide. Or...the wise of heart and mind standing in the Truth of the Lord God Who made us and granted us our free choice. I choose side of the Lord!

This will be brief today. The Word of God speaks clearly. Galatians 5:1 tells us, "In [this] freedom Christ has made us free [and completely liberated us]; stand fast then, and do not be hampered and held ensnared and submit again to a yoke of slavery[which you have once put off]."

Do you hear the calling? Do you hear the counsel of the Lord? His Spirit is still moving in hearts around the world. More so as the day of His Appearing approaches! I am excited to be His Beloved and can hear His voice calling and showing me the steps to take on this incredible journey, day by day.

I wake within His mercy each morning. He continues to show favor and faithfulness and covering me with His grace. Do you want this too?

There is only one way back to the Father. Through the work of Jesus Christ His only Son upon the cross and out of that grave. This victory alone is awesome but, then we are sealed by His Spirit! No more fear, only freedom to walk within His grace.

Galatians 5:24-26 says, "And those who belong to Christ Jesus (the Messiah0 have crucified the flesh (the godless human nature) with its passions and appetites and desires. ~ " If we live by the [Holy] Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit. [If by the Holy Spirit we have our life in God, let us go forward walking in line, our conduct controlled by the Spirit.] ` Let us not become vainglorious and self-conceited, competitive and challenging and provoking and irritating to one another, envying and being jealous of one another." Jesus heal my heart and my mind to be conformed to Your will.

I pray you call out to the Lord, confess your sins and find His delight over you today. Please don't put this off. Confess Jesus as Lord over your life and be free. Truly Free in the matchless name of Jesus, amen.

Abundance is...free in Christ I stand
