Welcome to Heartstrings

The Word of God is full of assurance for His children. No matter what is happening in your personal life, He cares for you. No matter what the world says about you, He cares for you. Will you let His perfect, everlasting Words bring assurance and hope to your heart and mind today?

Micah 7:7 says, "As for me, I watch in hope for the LORD, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me."

Psalm 46:10 says, "Cease striving and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth."

Exodus 33:14 says, "And [the LORD] said, " My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest."

1 Peter 5:6-7 says, "Humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in the due time, casting all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you."

Amen? Who can disagree with the promises of our God Who never fails to keep every one of them? He will stand with fists in the air and shout, "How dare You?"

Only instead, let us fall on our knees and tremble before the Almighty! What He says, He will do. He will not change. Only believe. Trust in, rely on, cling to the One Who made you. He loves you with an everlasting Love and will see you through this too. What ever the "this" is in your life.

I ask for acceptance with joy today Abba Father. You are worthy to be praised and so I will put my trust in You first and foremost. Help me to know You and desire to follow hard after the counsel of Your will. Make me a vessel of honor for Your glory. In the matchless name of Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior, Amen.

Abundance is...letting Him speak

Good morning family of God

I am so glad we are able to gather here with Heartstrings. While so much is crazy in this world and we can hardly keep up I do keep you in my prayers. I am understanding my safe place is always in the arms of Jesus. Regardless of circumstances we can together, hang on to the promises of God. He never cancels His Love or delays answers without a purpose for our good and His glory. Only Believe!

If you have been experiencing broken sleep, troubled days, stress about how things are going to turn out...I have good news for you today!

By day He directs His love; at night His songs are with us, for He is the God of our life. So take heart precious ones and know that God is in charge of everything in our lives. The Lord desires to bless us each day with things that are on our path to remind us we are loved. Look for them today.

Psalm 42:8 says..."By day the Lord directs his love, at night his song is with me...a prayer to the God of my life."

Do not be discouraged by the hard things that face you. Our world is fallen as Jesus told us. So, do not be afraid of the reports and do not allow the enemy to warp your faith into fear.

1Peter 5:8-9 says..."Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kind of sufferings."

Notice the enemy appears like a roaring lion. He is hungry to steal your joy and extinguish your hope. The way to conquer him is by putting on the armor of God and put on a garment of praise. Call upon the Lord to pour our the fresh oil of His Spirit over your mind. This works every time!

So I have spent many sleepless nights and for a long time now am finally getting into the practice of presenting myself before Him in praise and worship. Too tired to stand at times. Many times pacing the floor and calling on His name over every thought that comes to my mind. Praying for people without even knowing them. Sound strange? Not really. Did you see what the last part of the scripture said? "...brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kind of sufferings."

Whether we are awake or sleeping we will rejoice because Jesus is with us and lovingly watches over us. Seek His face. Intimacy, tender and beautiful will become part of your soul as you meditate on Him.

Psalm 63:6-8 says, "When I remember You on my bed, I meditate on You in the night watches. Because You have been my help, therefore in the shadow of Your wings I will rejoice. My soul follows close behind You; Your right hand upholds me."

Praise the Lord for His watchfulness! You are eternally loved by Abba Father. He will keep you, always. He is always present with you. So, snuggle into His rich Love and allow Him to pour His grace over your life today. Read Psalm 91 and see what I mean.

Have a blessed day as we wait for His Appearing! It won't be long from now. Are you ready? In His matchless name be lifted up. Amen.

Abundance is...His watchfulness

Good afternoon,

Have you fallen in love with the One Who made you? Do you know you are uniquely reworked by the redeeming power of Jesus, the Son of God? When was the last time you told Him thank you? Read again Psalm 139...it is wonderful!

So, this will be something from my journal written on February 28, 2022. I have been encouraged to share it with you. It is a small part of my personal story. Each has their own to tell. I pray it is received with an open mind and it brings glory to God.

"I am writing this today because it feels right. After all the years of trying to comply, adapt, perform and have the right appeal to please others, I realized while pouring pancake batter into my sizzling cast iron pan this morning that...I like me. I like many things I fought against in the past. Trying to appease the culture, the religion and mindset of those I thought were better, at well, most everything.

I love the woman of God has made me and adore Him for making me His design. In personality, in movement, in desire. He knows there is more to do in shaping me, but He is patient and kind.

You know how hurrying does not a perfect pancake make...haha. Silly maybe, but I learn by pictures. And I pray my life is as wonderful to look at because of Holy Spirit in me. Like turning the pages of a beautiful pop-up book, it tells the story. Praise Jesus!

What I like? Many things that before would have caused me to grunt in distain. I'm not put off by stripes with paisley put together. By flower prints with plaids. With denim and ruffles. I am pleasantly satisfied with the layers. Anymore, it doesn't matter if the fashion isn't up to date. I am free. Even my potted plants inside are going to get an unrehearsed new look. A strip of fabric encircling the plain. I desire color!

So like an elephant chained in one place for years, now that chain is cut away. Now, if I can take one step at a time my new boundaries will be limitless as God provides.

For anyone who is reading my journals you will see seasons and changes. Some come with heartache and battles, some with gratitude and contentment. All the while the Lord's hand has been with me. The True Shepherd that He is...He is enough.

My home here is tiny. But it has all we need. Yes, I long for more windows, more storage, more yard. But, since living in this garage remake, I have been able to exalt the Lord above these circumstances. See, we have lived in this one space nearly 7 years. The longest ever in one place...this amazes me. I have become more grateful, learning that comparison to anyone but Jesus will lead me off the path.

Yep, there is more...I sure don't know why today of all days my heart is so full. I think it must be that I am preparing for my home in heaven, someday. While the most of these 7 years has been trying to deal with loneliness I'm learning that may never change...but, I do know without a doubt I do not feel alone for He is with me. There is a difference.

I want this for you too! More than any other time in my 68 years have I wanted others, including you, to know how much God wants to hear your voice, watch over you and feed you with His Words of Love.

So, as my eyes age, along with the rest of my body, I want more color, more songs and more fellowship in the the Holy Spirit. I want the Lord to make every appointment for my loved ones and myself.

That may mean sitting in my house listening to the much needed rain dancing on the metal roof. Peace. Finding a new strength to walk even if it is only doing laps around my living room and kitchen. Gratitude. Watching the birds eat from the feeders outside my window. Hope. God still provides for them. He gave me the money to buy the seed to put in those swaying see houses.

Oh, and as you might suspect I still have the handmade doilies from years ago gracing shelves. Yep, grandma things and grandma loves. I even have a couple stuffed animals that my husband or the kids have given me. The puppy for Christmas that has a musical song, "Jesus Loves Me." A gift from my husband along with a hope and promise of a real one.

So, blessed assurance, hope enlarged, heart peace and excitement as The Day approaches, the Trumpet, the Voice because I have been chosen by the Father, Redeemed by the Son and sealed with His Spirit. It equals life for eternity!

Thank you Abba. Please bring fruit from this little entry into someone's journey. Lead us on by the power and favor of Your precious Spirit I pray in the matchless name of Jesus Christ, I give all of my heart, soul, mind and strength. Amen."

God bless you

Abundance is...In His hands

Blessed be the name of the Lord! Do you need reassurance today? Let's look at the faithful promises given by God. If you believe in the Son of God, Jesus Christ and have repented of your sins, He will forgive you and lift you out of the bondage in your life. He promised!

1 Corinthians 10:13 seems pretty long when reading the Amplified Version of the Bible but, I like to see the translations of words given in the Greek and Hebrew texts. Understanding the heart and mind of God is what I desire.

"For no temptation (no trial) regarded as enticing to sin), [no matter how it comes or where it leads] has overtaken you and laid hold on you that is not common to man [that is, no temptation or trial has come to you that is beyond human resistance and that is not adjusted and adapted and belonging to human experience, and such as man can bear],

But God is faithful [to His Word and to His compassionate nature], and He [can be trusted] not to let you be tempted and tried and assayed beyond your ability and strength of resistance and power to endure, but with the temptation He will [always] also provide the way out (the means of escape to a landing place), that you may be capable and strong and powerful to bear up under it patiently."

I am so glad God knows what I am made of. Aren't you? How many times have you let someone hear a mouthful of icky words? The kind that come from self pity, anger, wanting another person to change their mind or even in the private times, in your own space...you rant at the circumstances and complain? Who is hearing you ultimately? Confess and grow up to be a true witness of Christ's work of redemption in your life. Don't let your own purposes get in the way of your testimony. I'm talking to myself here too. None righteous, no not one.

Lord forgive us of our pollution, our stinky attitudes and plans to be in control. Help us keep our values clear by what we say and do in this lost world. Teach us how to examine our hearts before Your Word. To separate the precious from the worthless. In Jesus name, amen.

I found it interesting that the faithfulness of God has a great purpose. He will keep us strong to the end so that we may be able to greet the Lord Jesus when He returns...and with great joy!

1 Corinthians 1:8-9 says..."And He will establish you to the end [keep you steadfast, give you strength, and guarantee your vindication; He will be your warrant against all accusation or indictment so that you will be] guiltless and irreproachable in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah).

God is faithful (reliable, trustworthy, and therefore ever true to His promise, and He can be depended on); by Him you were called into companionship and participation with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord."

Praise the Lord we are not left on our own. You know how your flesh can be? We crave what we don't need. We make idols of our stuff and position. We desperately need Jesus! He really came to earth for us. Now we can bow our hearts and lift our hands that He really will finish the story of our lives. This journey, this season, is not without His loving kindness and compassion. Read Psalm 103:1-5 today in the quiet and make it yours.

Do you want to be blameless and confident before the throne of God? I sure do! We can begin each morning casting all our cares on Him, knowing He cares deeply and completely for us.

Finally, 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24..."And may the God of peace Himself sanctify you through and through [separate you from profane things, make you pure and wholly consecrated to God]; and may your spirit and soul and body be preser5ved sound and complete [and found] blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah).

Faithful is He Who is calling you [to Himself] and utterly trustworthy, and He will also do it [fulfill His call by hallowing and keeping you]." Amen.

Now think about this. Is your view confused, dimmed, fogged over by the untruth, the evil voices all around you? Regardless of your circumstances, find joy and peace in the unfailing, faithful Word of God. His promises remain forever and will never change. He gave them to each of us to gird us up on holy faith. He conquers the evil intended against you and I. He will come again as He said and the Victory will be evident. It can be even today. Let Jesus be the answer to your problems. He remains. God bless and keep you in the matchless name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Abundance is...God is utterly trustworthy!

Welcome family of God

I am so glad we could be here together today. If your soul is heavy with the things being said and done in our world today then this is for you. My encouragement has arrived in the form of The Good Shepherd.

In John 10:7-10 says, "So Jesus said again, I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, that I Myself am the Door for the sheep. ~ All others who came [as such] before Me are thieves and robbers, but the [true] sheep did not listen to and obey them. ~ I am the Door; anyone who enters in through Me will be saved (will live). He will come in and he will go out [freely], and will find pasture. ~ The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows). ~ I am the Good Shepherd. The Good Shepherd risks and lays down His [own] life for the sheep."

Lord, what a wonder You are! As though for this time in our lives, when the thief has been revealed and we sometimes struggle to hear a good report, along comes Your Faithful promises! Praise the name of Jesus! You never change. Your Love is perfect and your plans are good for those who will put their trust in You. Thank you!

1 Thessalonians 5:24..."Faithful is He Who is calling you [to Himself] and utterly trustworthy, and He will also do it [fulfill His call by hallowing and keeping you]." Think about this! When was the last time you have had anyone care for you so deeply as to lay down His life for you?

His grace helps us to find encouragement and give encouragement to meet needs. I noticed today while trying to catch some "news" that my spirit became agitated and I am sure my blood pressure rose. I had to turn it off and take a deep breath in of Holy Spirit's perfect peace. Drink in Living Water and take in the Bread of Life. Then, I could sit down and let His Word speak to my soul.

The media will never agree. It will never conclude within the boundaries of peace. When we take the word of man and build our lives on that foundation, instead of the strong foundation of God's unchanging faithfulness, we become distracted, discouraged and maybe even loose the strength God wants to supply us with. So, physically, emotionally and spiritually we become prey to the thieves. Fret not little flock. Only Believe, cling to, trust in and abide in the Shepherds loving, faithful care.

The place to be is here in Hebrews 4:16..."Let us then fearlessly and confidently and boldly draw near to the throne of grace (the throne of God's unmerited favor to us sinners). that we may receive mercy 'for our failures] and find grace to help in good time for every need [appropriate help and well-timed help, coming just when we need it.]." Amen!

This is all I have to share right now. You are in my prayers each day. May the Lord bless you with boldness to stand on the
Truth, in the Light and on The Way to your eternal home with the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. In the matchless name of Jesus, amen.

Abundance is...God never changes
