Good morning Heartstrings family

I am praying for you today. I know we come from many places yet, here we are together before the Throne of God. How blessed to be able to share with you today. Thank you for gathering with us.

There are many things on my heart. Yet, above all, I want to pray with you. If you believe in the name of Jesus Christ then, you have been redeemed from a life of sin, back to the Father. There has been much time for me to be still since I hurt my foot. It has been getting better and I am so grateful. Just because my physical body is dealing with pain it doesn't mean I have to do nothing. So I pray. I do not want to forget the tender times of being intimately in His presence, and hearing what the Words of God are speaking to my heart. There is much healing going on in my spirit.

Do you long for peace? Is there joy in your heart and mind when you wake in the morning? Or, worry over what will come? Are you troubled and anxious about the future? Do you believe God is in control?

Really believe? Regardless of what the circumstances look like, we are told to not worry, but to put our trust in God alone.

We have been blessed in so many ways. I am counting them one by one.

As we witness the evil forces at work here in America, we must hold fast to the Word of God! Yes, it is impossible to manage and control the foolishness seen on our internet programs, except to turn it off. Less and less I find myself watching. My prayers are for the salvation of many in America and that our churches would wake up and turn their backs on woke ideals. Our nation is really sick and without a leader that loves this nation. So, we will pray, vote and pray some more!

I choose today, serenity over chaos. I choose to dwell in the secret place of the Most High where I will remain stable and fixed under the shelter of the Almighty, whose power no foe can withstand. Psalm 91 goes on to say, I will say of the Lord, He is my Refuge and my Fortress, my God to lean on and rely and in Him I confidently trust.

This is my first prayer of every day. Then I pray the way Jesus taught us to pray the Lord's Prayer. Then, I put on the full armor of God. From there I pray whatever the Holy Spirit leads me. I know God hears.

While reading in Isaiah, I am seeing things that could actually be written in our own time. Israel is priority in my prayers! The enemy advances, but not for long. Children will rebel and turn from the instruction of parents with hatred guiding them. It breaks the heart of God too mom and dad.

Take time to read Isaiah. In chapter 30:18 I saw, "And therefore the Lord [earnestly] waits [expecting, looking, and longing] to be gracious to you; and therefore He lifts Himself up, that He may have mercy on you and show loving-kindness to you. For the Lord is a God of justice. Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) are all those who [earnestly] wait for Him, who expect and look and long for Him [for His victory, His favor, His love, His peace, His joy, and His matchless, unbroken companionship]!

This is our God! Do not follow the ways of the foolish. We see them openly jabbering about who knows what and yet they are followed by those equally foolish in their minds. Seared from the Truth. We have had enough of this. This has gone one for almost 4 years. How this breaks the heart of God.

How are you praying? Are you one of the Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) that the Bible talks about? I am! Are you earnestly waiting for Him? Read that scripture again. Now again. Ask Holy Spirit to open your eyes and you will see how wonderful it is to be a child of the Living God!

To sum this up I will pray Isaiah 33:2..."O LORD, be gracious to us; we have waited [expectantly] for You. Be the arm [of Your servants--their strength and defense] every morning, our salvation in the time of trouble." In the matchless name of Jesus Christ the Son of God, amen.

I am not sure if I conveyed all I wanted to say. But, I am praying for you and want you to know where your hope lies. Not in the things of man. Only in our Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. He is Lord of all and soon we will see Him and be changed to be like Him.

Stay in the Word everyday. Take time to keep the Lord fixed in your heart and mind. He will keep you safe and well. The Lord bless you and keep you and lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace. May He cover you with His Grace and Mercy. Amen.

Abundance is...He is The Way, The Truth and The Life

Welcome Heartstrings family

Yes, after many days I am finally able to sit at my computer. My foot is healing and I have something precious to share with you. Will you pray with me?

Holy Spirit, we invite you to teach us from God's Book of Love. So many of us have had our eyes opened, especially in the last three weeks, that the enemy is trampling on the hearts of God's people. We have never before been so aware of the evil and find our hearts heavy with fear at times. Help us today. In Jesus name, amen.

Isn't it awesome to see the hand of God at work? After a restless night, prayer and tears, I am now rested in the promises of the Lord. Like living water bubbling over, my hope remains steadfast on the Lord. The goodness of God is eternal.

You have heard the news of fires? Today, our blue sky is heavily gauzed over with the smoke of the many fires west of us. The warnings of war to break over our nation. Even the threat of all power off for an unforeseen time. I want to share what I read this morning in my quiet time. So much happening hour by hour. I look expectantly for The Glorious Appearing!

Your Word speaks to me in Psalm 56:3-4, "What time I am afraid, I will have confidence in You, put my trust and reliance in You. By the help of God I will praise His word; on God I lean and rely, and confidently put my trust; I will not fear. What can man who is flesh do to me?"

It is fear that drives us to hide. Just what the enemy wants. Instead, we must bring all fear to the foot of the cross and then watch what the Lord will do. So, rather than hiding your Light...Keep the Light on! Amen?

Philippians 4:6-8 says, "Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in every thing by prayer and definite requests with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God. And God's peace shall be yours, a soul assured of its salvation through Christ, so fearing nothing from God and being content with its earthly lot, whatever that is, that peace which transcends all understanding shall garrison and mount guard over your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus."

Because you haven't been given a spirit of fear but, of power and love and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7) we have this to be diligent in. Philippians 4:8...Whatever is true, worthy of reverence, honorable and seemly, whatever is just, pure, lovely, lovable, kind, winsome and gracious, if there is any virtue and excellence, anything worthy of praise, think on and weigh and take account of these things!

Fix your mind on these things! Not on the media, or the terrors of takeover in our nation. Yes, do bring them before the Throne of Grace and talk to God about them, but always come back to your resting place in God's Word. He doesn't want us to be ignorant but He wants us to be wise. He knows how bad news affects the body physically. So many are really sick with a common disease called worry.

Lord Jesus, You are my hope. Proverbs 13:12 says, "Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but when the desire is fulfilled, it is a tree of life."

You are my desire Lord Jesus. Psalm 37:4 says, "Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He will give you the desires and secret petitions of your heart." What is your desire?

Philippians 4:19 says, "And my God will liberally supply, fill to the full, all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus."

Jeremiah 29:11 says, "For I know the thoughts and plans I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome."

What's the catch you ask? Humble yourself before God. Only then can you resist the devil. His weapons will be powerless before you. Only trust in God.

Lord, You are Holy and Worthy of praise! My Matchless Warrior. Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. I worship You. In the name of Jesus Christ, I bow. Amen.

Finally, there is a chorus I sing...Oh Protector of my soul, You will stand against the foe. In the dark you'll be a light for me, O Protector of my soul.

Abundance is...everyday keep the LIGHT On

Welcome to Heartstrings

I am so glad you could gather with us! I hope you are safe and well today.

What I want to share with you is some wonderful words of life from the book of Psalms.

This morning, after watering the garden, and spending time in God's Love Letter to us, I was so encouraged by what I read in Psalm 40:1-5.

"I waited patiently and expectantly for the Lord; and He inclined to me and heard my cry. ~ He drew me up out of a horrible pit [a pit of tumult and of destruction], out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, steadying my steps and establishing my goings. ~ And He has put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God. Many shall see and fear (revere and worship) and put their trust and confident reliance in the Lord. ~ Many, O Lord my God, are the wonderful works which You have done, and Your thoughts toward us; no one can compare with You! If I should declare and speak of them, they are too many to be numbered."

Why stop here? Read the rest of the chapter in a quiet place and hide the Love of God deep in your heart.

There have been one trial after another in so many lives. Fire, flood, winds, and simply bad news that touches a persons life. We must remember the goodness of God! That is why I am able to come here today. His goodness and provision, regardless of the obvious circumstances have been there for me. They are there for you too, as you reach out and touch the Lord.

WE need to keep proclaiming God's love to the world around us! His love and kindness will continually preserve you and I. Only believe. Trust in, rely on and cling to Him.

In verse 16 of this chapter David says..."Let all those that seek and require You rejoice and be glad in You; let such as love Your salvation say continually, THE LORD BE MAGNIFIED!

Verse 17 ends with this..."[As for me] I am poor and needy, yet the Lord takes thought and plans for me. You are my Help and my Deliverer, O my God, do not tarry!"

You know David faced desperate, troubling times too. So, we are not alone. That is part of the Good News! I wonder, where do you turn to for good news? Do you seek God or just lay there and take it like so many in despair?

I will continue to choose the Way, the Truth and the Life I have found in Jesus Christ, my Lord.  As long as the world can keep us engaged, talking, debating and wasting time...the enemy wins. I have recently learned this and feel corrupted by the time I spent. Apparently, no, obviously I was not to get involved. So, the Holy Spirit knocked on my heart and I felt uncomfortable to continue. When confusion stepped in, then I knew I had been on a wrong path. No more.

If you understand my meaning then, we will pray to God and ask for wisdom. I don't want to be one of the deceived, do you? The enemy can be very subtle, even winsome. He takes on many forms and disguises. The perfect pretender...be wise people!

Father God, we come to You and ask for the wisdom to refute the enemy and his plans. Your word says in Isaiah 54 that no weapon formed against us will prosper. Help us walk in the righteousness in Jesus Christ. Give us understanding and open eyes to see truth from Your Word. Protect us in the name of Jesus Christ. Holy Spirit cover our minds with soundness and peace. Our strength comes from you Abba. In Jesus matchless name, amen.

This peace, righteousness, security, triumph over opposition is our heritage as servants of the Living God! You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Abundance is...to say continually the Lord be magnified!

Gathering with Heartsrings

Good morning friends and family. Will you say that Because He Lives, I can face tomorrow? He is our only hope for our future.

Last night I watched the debate and my heart became anxious. Not just in a bad way but, anxious for truth to come forward. Instead of, the sad representation of a man without understanding of what has really taken place. I cannot call him my president. Yes, I am speaking about Joe Biden. The clarity, the strength and values of President Donald Trump outweighed and exposed the truth about our wayward nation. Many looked on this debate around the world and had their eyes opened.

This morning, I bring all of my doubts, concerns and burdens for our nation before the Lord of All. Herein is my peace. I turned to John 14. God's Love letter to us is full of hope and should give us life joy. Not remorse but, a well placed hope in the power and the name of Jesus Christ. Read the whole chapter and become a vessel of honor.

Verse 25-29... Jesus said, "I have told you these things while I am still while I am still with you. ~ But the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, Whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. And He will cause you to recall (will remind you of, bring to your remembrance) everything I have told you.

~Peace I leave with you, My [own] peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let Your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. [Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed; and do not permit yourselves to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled.]

~ You heard Me tell you, I am going away and I am coming [back] to you. If you [really] loved Me, you would have been glad, because I am going to the Father; for the Father is greater and mightier than I am. ~ And now I have told you [this] before it occurs, so that when it does take place you may believe and have faith in and rely on Me."

As I write this, my pounding heart, cluttered mind and sorrowful soul are slowing to a gentle, calm rhythm. That kettle drum has become the soft sound of stringed instruments for my spirit. Do you understand? Our place of refuge is found in Jesus Christ. You can believe there is a God. But, until you come with a humble heart and bring all your burdens, your sins to Him, there will only be the assumption that your soul is truly at rest. Please call on the name of the Lord now and be saved.

Lord Jesus, You alone make the difference in my life. You are my Strength and Shield. A Shelter in the time of the storm. (Psalm 28:7) You see the days to come. I will trust my life into Your able, loving hands now. I believe You died and rose again. I accept You as my Savior, Redeemer back to the Father. Praise the name, Your name, which is above all others! Thank you for sealing me with Your Holy Spirit. The guarantee of eternity with You! In Jesus matchless name, amen.

If you have prayed this prayer, you might think it can't be that simple. Oh, but it is! Now, get a Bible and read through. The Holy Spirit will teach you and guide you to perfect peace. Do not put this off. The days are troubled and we don't know when we will take our last breath. Bless you in the name of our Lord and soon coming King, amen.

Abundance is...Because He Lives!

Welcome to Hearstrings family and friends

I am sorry I have been away for so long. On one hand, my body has been a focus so I can be well. On the other hand, I have been finding out that there are many things involved in detoxing. Whether it is to remove metal toxins and getting my gut to work well or, to find from God the wisdom I need to take care of this body.

Along this path, I am discovering the value of a sound mind. Power to do the simple things and to love every moment of walking in the way of the Holy Spirit. There have come times of discouragement. The only safe place is in the presence of the Lord and reading His Word daily, and often.

2 Timothy 1:7 says, "For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear), but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control."

Who would have thought that everything I take into my body, mind and soul would effect my whole person? God had a plan and He is seeing me through this challenge. Until I read this in the Amplified Bible I never considered what this meant. A calm, well-balanced mind? Discipline and self-control?

Yes! I have loved ones fighting cancer and having no help because they are beyond the doctors ability. It hurts to hear them so inhibited by this disease. They are clinging to God Almighty for each breath and know they will be with the Lord when they are gone from here. Blessed assurance holds them up. Yet, the sorrow at times is overwhelming.

Fear of anything can become something you know? My mind has been brought to a deeper dependence upon the Lord. My choices are changing and I don't find comfort in the things of entertainment I used to. Not even the need to go, go, go. Things have lost their luster. This takes a different path now where I need to ask for help. I pray more now for others, not just myself. The long times of having to be still are when I can listen to the voice of scripture. Inspiration to try drawing and painting have resulted in these quiet times out in the garden.

And, of course my family are dear to my heart in a deeper way. Not just the surface interactions. My husband has been such a support. I praise the Lord for his willingness to do things like dishes and laundry, along with tending to the garden and working on projects. Fixing the truck, taking care of the quail, building. I am grateful beyond words for this man.

Love is from the heart. It shows up when needed whether you are having a good day or a tough one. I have seen this. God's Love is being perfected in all of us. Our trust has grown and our faith has become active. At the end of the day to say "Thank you Lord Jesus" just doesn't seem like enough.

What I want for you, my brothers and sisters is this. That you continue in the Love of the Lord. That the power of the Holy Spirit works with you and through you. That your mind will rest and be filled with the words of hope given to you from the Lord.

Be strong. It takes courage to step away from the world and find home in the heart of God. His heart in you. His joy and hope in you.

Romans 8:28 is probably one you think you know. But really take a look at this. Let this word spur you on to make the hard decisions in front of you. "We are assured and know that [God being a parner in their labor] all things work together and are [fitting into a plan] for good to and for those who love God and are called according to [His] design and purpose."

Before I leave you, please know I am praying for those of you in this world, who I may not see, but, who have been brought to my heart by the Holy Spirit. He knows each name. God sees all. He is listening for you to call on Him.

I have found this Word to lift up my heavy heart and would like to share it with you. Romans 15:13 says, "May the God of your hope so fill you with all joy and peace in believing [through the experience of your faith] that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound and be overflowing (bubbling over) with hope."

I pray this, in the matchless name of Jesus Christ. As we wait expectantly for His return, believe, trust in, rely on and cling to our precious Lord and King. Amen.

Abundance is...making the right choices
